Understanding “The Lab”

2 min read

The Lab began as a quiet exploration of how nature, humans, and technology could genuinely collaborate, shifting from separate systems to co-creators. This evolved into a core principle: designing with the intelligence of nature, especially as technology advances and user behaviors rapidly change.

I am drawn to the undefined intersection of design, culture, and computation. My days are spent researching, building, and, most importantly, listening, finding profound joy in the very act of creation and the insights it unveils. Through observation and experiment, I craft experiences that challenge norms, feeling human, alive, and in rhythm.

“I don’t predict the future. I listen to its pattern. Connecting the multidisciplinary pulses and cultural waves.”

Malte Wassermann

The independent Lab is a space of continuous curiosity and care, dedicated to exploring futures that resonate with nature, while also appreciating the present.
