Understanding “The Lab”

2 min read

Built on Curiosity

The Lab began as a quiet search to understand how nature, humans, and machines might coexist and interact, moving beyond separate systems to become collaborators in creation, especially as technology advances and user behaviors rapidly shift. What started as reflection and writing slowly became a living principle: designing with — not against — the intelligence of nature.

I'm drawn to the undefined, bridging design, culture, and computation. Some days I research, some I build — most days, I listen. The profound joy resides within the very act of creation — in the ongoing process itself, and in the deeper understanding that gently unfolds along the way. Through observation and experiment, I create experiences that challenge what we’ve learned to accept as standard — experiences that feel human, alive, and in rhythm with the world around us.

Envisioning the Future

The independent Lab is a space of continuous curiosity and care — exploring futures in rhythm with nature, reminding us of what's already here.

My Journey

I am a multidisciplinary product designer, driven by curiosity and motivated by shaping experiences in synergy with nature and humanity. My work is forward-thinking yet grounded in sensitivity, built on two decades of exploring design's power to foster meaning, connection, and change.

I've had the privilege of pushing boundaries alongside very talented people and global partners such as Google, PayPal, Leica Camera, Hewlett-Packard, Bosch, Bertelsmann, Beiersdorf, Oracle, LG Electronics, KLM, Konami, Brown-Forman, Dr. Kurt Wolff, and many others.
